The Yachtsmen finished the regular season with a record of 9-7. This earned them the number 7 seed in the playoffs.
In the first round of the play-offs, they beat the #10 seed Gorham Rams. In the Southern Maine quarterfinal round, they upset the #2 seed Thorton Academy Trojans. FHS lost in the semi-final round to the Scarborough Red Storm – who ultimately won the state title.
FHS ended the season with a final record of 11-8.
