Senior Day, Banquet and End of Regular Season Victory, Oh boy!

Baseball Banquet beats the rain on Saturday. Great turnout from our Varsity, JV and First team. Baseball is strong in Falmouth.
Falmouth finishes the season 14-2 with a 5-3 win over Westbrook and look to be secure in the number two seed going into the playoffs.

Falmouth JV Baseball goes 13-2 for 2022 season

The Falmouth JV Navigators have dominated for much of the season on the mound and at the plate. Today was no different, with Haggerty hitting a triple in the second to score two runs. Falmouth added another four runs in the fourth, with Thomas Healey and Mikey Christman each driving in runs. Isaac Laliberte had another strong outing surrendering three runs on six hits over five innings, striking out eight and walking one. Healey earned the save pitching the last two innings in relief to close out the game. Falmouth scattered 12 hits with Colby Morse and Healey each racking up multiple hits.

Falmouth Varsity Navigators hold on and defeat Kennebunk

At this point in the season, wins don’t come easy. The game was tied at three going into the fifth when an error scored two runs for the Navigators. Up 5-3, they tacked on another in the seventh and held off Kennebunk for a 6-3 victory. Rumpf, Gill and Gay all recorded multiple hits on the day. Bennett Smith struck out 6 over 5 innings with Gill and Rumpf closing out the game.
