Falmouth JV Improves to 3-1

Falmouth defeated Thornton Academy 8-2 improving to 3-1 on the season. Harper Drosdick, Liam Keefer, and Ben Robbins combined to 4 hit the Trojans over 7 innings. Drosdick went the first 3 innings followed by Keefer for 2 1/3 and Robbins for 2 2/3.

Cale Hanson led the way offensively with 2 doubles. Milo Madsen added a double.

Falmouth Falls to TA in 10 Inning Battle

Falmouth fell on a bloop single in the bottom of the 10th inning. Thomas Healey pitched 5 1/3 strong innings giving up 4 hits, one run, while striking out two. Tyler Simmons added 2 1/3 strong innings in relief followed by Jacoby Porter who pitched the final 2 innings.

Josh Polchies led Falmouth with 4 doubles going 4 for 5 and scored Falmouth’s lone run. Jacoby Porter drove Polchies in with a double going 2 for 3. Sam Shapiro also had a strong day at the plate going 3 for 4.

The loss brings Falmouth to 3-3, currently 8th in the Class A South Heal Point Standings.

Matson Throws 2 Hitter in 5-0 Win vs. Portland

Milo Matson threw a 2 hit complete game shutout versus the visiting Portland Bulldogs. Nick Wyse contributed 3 RBI going 2 for 3. Falmouth collected 11 hits. Caden Berry, Tyler Simmons, and Ben Robbins also each had 2 hits.

Matson struck out seven, walked none, and went the distance over 7 innings.
