Falmouth JV took a 1-0 lead in the first on a RBI single by Tyler Simmons and never looked back. Isaac Laliberte pitched a gem allowing 3 hits over six and two thirds innings, striking out 13 and walking none. Rowan Haggerty went 2 for 3 at the plate and recorded the last out to secure the save. Navigators were sure handed and committed no errors.

Falmouth held a 2-0 lead heading into the 7th. Bonny Eagle wasn’t ready to go quietly answering with a deep 2 run home run to left center. Falmouth loaded the bases in the bottom of the 7th with one out but couldn’t muster the sac fly. With a timely pick at third in the top half of the 8th by Hendry, Falmouth escapes bases loaded. In the bottom frame, Bennett Smith hits a nice single. Brennan Rumpf, looking for a base hit to advance Smith, ends up hitting a great piece clearing the left field fence for a memorable walk off 2 run homer. Falmouth sits at 11-1 with 4 games remaining.

Billy Birks pitched 6 innings, surrendering five runs on five hits while walking zero. Big hitter of the day was Rowan Haggerty going 2 for 3 including a triple.

The Rams scored their lone run in the first. After that, Bennett Smith settled in and pitched 4 hit ball through 4 innings. Patrick Gill and Brennan Rumpf came out of the bullpen to close out the game. Multiple hits tonight by Coyne and Ham. Falmouth took advantage on with savvy base running as Gorham committed 4 errors.
