Game 1: Bennett Smith pitched a seven-hitter and also hit an RBI single to lead Falmouth (9-2) to a 3-0 win in a doubleheader opener at Gorham (7-5). Gorham pitcher Kyle Skofield allowed only five hits, but two came during Falmouth’s two-run first inning. Sam Kidder scored the first run on a foul pop-up.
