In game 1 of the double-header, Falmouth scored early and often and solid pitching kept Deering off the board as the Yachtsmen won 13-0 in 5 innings.

Dom Tracy started on the mound for Falmouth. He gave up 2 hits in the first inning, but did not allow another base runner in 4 innings of work. He earned the win allowing the 2 hits striking out two and not allowing a walk.

Brady Coyne led off the game for FHS with a single. Sam Kidder walked and Gus Ford drove in Coyne with a sacrifice fly. Tracy walked and Ben Keller had a 2-RBI single to make it 3-0 after the first inning.

Falmouth got three more runs in the second. Brennan Rumpf reached on an error and scored on a wild pitch. Coyne and Kidder each drew a walk and scored on a hard hit ball by Bennett Smith that was ruled an error.

In the 4^th inning, Smith reached again on an error and scored on a Keller RBI single. Falmouth led 7-0 after 4 innings.

Falmouth closed out the scoring with 6 runs in the 5^th inning. Ethan Hendry started things with a walk. Coyne singled and Kidder walked. Gus Ford delivered a bases loaded 2-RBI single.  Smith walked to load the bases and Tracy drew a walk to bring in Kidder. Keller then hit into a fielder’s choice that resulted in another 2 runs for Falmouth. Ben Wilson’s grounder scored Tracy for Falmouth’s final run.

Patrick Gill came into pitch the 5^th inning and retired the Rams in order.

In the second game, three Falmouth pitchers combined to keep Deering hitless for 6 innings. Eli Cowperthwaite started on the mound for FHS. He worked three innings and earned the win. He struck out 3, walked 1 and did not allow a hit.

Ben Wilson pitched the 4^th and 5^th innings. He struck out 1, and did not allow a walk or a hit.

Brennan Rumpf came in to close out the game. In the 6^th, he struck out the side in order. Deering finally broke through in the 7^th with 2 hits and scored their only run of the day. Rumpf ended up striking out 4 and did not allow a walk in 2 innings of work.

Gus Ford drew a walk and moved to third on a perfectly executed hit-and-run by Patrick Gill. Bennett Smith drove in Ford with an RBI sacrifice fly.  Falmouth led 2-0 after 1.

In the 4^th inning, Smith roped a double and moved to third with a stolen base. Pete McCluskey drove in Smith with a single. McCluskey moved to 2^nd on a passed ball and 3^rd on a ground out. Eban Daniels walked and stole 2^nd. With 2 outs and runners on 2^nd and 3^rd, Deering intentionally walked Coyne to load the bases for Kidder.   Kidder made them pay by ripping a single to drive in 2 more runs. FHS took a 5-0 lead after 4.

FHS got 2 more in the 6^th inning. Coyne singled and came in to score on Ford’s RBI single. Ford stole 2^nd and came in to score on an RBI single by Mitch Ham. FHS led 8-0 after 6 innings.

Falmouth closed out the scoring in the 7^th. Daniels walked and Keller reached on an error. Kidder capped his big day at the plate by roping a 2-RBI double off the green monster to give Falmouth a 10-0 lead. Deering went 10 straight innings without a hit before getting 2 in the seventh and scored their only run of the day to avoid a shut-out.
