Bennett Smith pitched a five-hitter with five strikeouts for the Yachtsmen (7-5), who scored a run in the second inning and two in the third to come from behind and beat the Scots (7-7) at Falmouth.

After Robert Faucher hit a sacrifice fly in the first for Bonny Eagle, Josh Lefevre answered with an RBI single in the second. Ike Kiely hit an RBI double in the third, then scored on an error when Sam Kidder stole second.

SCARBOROUGH 8, FALMOUTH 3, 8 INNINGS

Nolan Lamontagne collected three of Scarborough’s six hits, and the Red Storm (8-2) scored five runs in the eighth inning to beat the Yachtsmen (4-4) in Falmouth.

Scarborough took advantage of eight Falmouth errors.

Sam Manganello had two hits for Falmouth.

Ike Kiely hit a walk-off RBI single in the bottom of the 12th as the Yachtsmen (4-3) edged the Rams (4-8) at Falmouth.

Garrett Tracy and Bennett Smith combined for 11 strikeouts over 12 innings. Brady Coyne had an RBI single in the fifth.

Sean Boylen hit an RBI single in the second for Gorham.

Connor Coffin drove in the go-ahead run with a single in the fifth inning as the Yachtsmen (2-3) beat the Rams (2-7) at Falmouth.

Bennett Berg’s single in the third scored Tre Fletcher and gave Deering a 1-0 lead. In the bottom of the inning, Brady Coyne doubled for Falmouth and scored on an error to make it 1-1. Coyne also scored the go-ahead run.

Bennett Smith earned the win, allowing five hits and one walk with three strikeouts.
