Falmouth fell on a bloop single in the bottom of the 10th inning. Thomas Healey pitched 5 1/3 strong innings giving up 4 hits, one run, while striking out two. Tyler Simmons added 2 1/3 strong innings in relief followed by Jacoby Porter who pitched the final 2 innings.
Josh Polchies led Falmouth with 4 doubles going 4 for 5 and scored Falmouth’s lone run. Jacoby Porter drove Polchies in with a double going 2 for 3. Sam Shapiro also had a strong day at the plate going 3 for 4.
The loss brings Falmouth to 3-3, currently 8th in the Class A South Heal Point Standings.
